The perspectives of the election are worries
México. - Governor Rick Perry declined yesterday the fight for the presidential candidacy of the Republican Party after a gust of bad results in the primary elections that are developed in The States. When giving to know their decision, Perry made public its support to the former president of the Chamber of Representatives, Newt Gingrich made public its support -one of the four applicants that stay in the republican fight -, to who referred as “a true conservative". contrary to the other republican applicants that have declined from the beginning of the primary ones of that party -deputy Michele Bachmann and the former governor of Utah, John Huntsman -, the Texan politician announces this decision after having headed during several months the surveys to obtain the presidential nomination of his party.

This made it when it was heading the surveys to obtain the presidential nomination of their party, and after a boisterous fall in the preferences as a consequence of their numerous miscues in the debates among pre candidates. However, the force that ended up acquiring the governor from Texas like its decision of declining in favor of “a true conservative” is so much indicative of the determination of the Republican Party to return to the White House in the presidential elections of incoming November, and of making it on the base of the political and social conservatism, the economic neoliberalism, the not well understood patriotism and the northern arrogance. Such features that characterized to the disastrous presidencies of George W. Bush seemed to have been defeated overwhelmingly in the elections of November of 2008, in those that it was elect the current leader, Barack Obama.

Nevertheless, the growing hesitations and inconsistencies of the current leader, their inability to face the voracity of the big capitals and of formulating an economic politics of the world, the non-fulfilment of some of the aspects more emblematic of their platform of campaign, and in general, their inability and you will to be distinguished of their predecessor's government, they have multiplied the frustration and the despair among the progressive currents of the American society and they have worn away the great informal alliance that more than three years ago took to Obama to the government from Washington. In contrast in the past three years it has taken place the invigoration and the advance of ultraconservative expressions that, as the one denominated ‘Tea Party’, they have been able to articulate the resistances of the social bases contrary to the Obama Obama’s administration and they have contributed electoral results to the republican cause, like it was of manifesto in the intermediate elections of 2010.

The perspective of a republican return to the oval office is not a good news for anybody: it is not certainly it for the population from The States, and neither for the world in general that is in the face of the risk that the imperialistic and colonialist features of Washington -maintained during the presidency of Obama - they are accentuated and to adopt an extreme posture. For that it makes to the region and Mexico in particular, the eventual relief of the political Afro-American for a republican governing is particularly worry one although in years recent many countries of Latin America have advanced in the invigoration of their respective sovereignties and national states, our country has trafficked for more than two decades in inverse way, and today it accuses a growing weakness in the institutional environment, a bigger economic dependence, politics, technological and alimentary regarding the neighboring country of the north, an erosion in its diplomatic conduction, and to make matters worse, a practical abdication to the sovereignty as regards national security.

As it happens in the American society, Latin America, and in particular our country, they face an undesirable alternative: the continuity of a government that has been deceptive and unable to overcome the inertias legacies by their predecessor, or the deep-seated of the pressures political-diplomats for the opening of the markets, the militarism, the protagonist of the national security as central axis of the regional relationships, the phobia ant-migrant, the insensibility toward the social problems of the region and the arrogance of the empire.
