México. - El presidente de
Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, renovó ayer sus críticas (02/08/16), hacia el
candidato republicano, Donald Trump, y cuestionó a las figuras prominentes
del partido conservador que han expresado diferentes niveles de desacuerdo
con el empresario, pero continúan con el apoyo oficial a su nominación. La
actual andanada del mandatario se enmarca en la polémica desatada la semana
pasada por Trump, quien atacó a la familia de Humayun Khan, un capitán del
ejército estadounidense de origen paquistaní y practicante musulmán, que
murió en 2004 víctima de un atentado suicida en Irak. Las declaraciones del
líder demócrata deben ubicarse en el contexto de la cultura política y
electoral estadounidense, la cual difiere substancialmente de la que, al
menos de manera ideal, prevalece en nuestro país: al norte del río Bravo se
considera parte de la normalidad democrática la participación del presidente
y otras figuras de autoridad en el intercambio de opiniones durante las
campañas electorales, e incluso el apoyo abierto a candidaturas específicas.
Pero incluso en ese escenario resulta peculiar, que Obama, un estadista caracterizado por la moderación discursiva y la cuidadosa
selección de los frentes en los cuales toma parte, se encuentra embarcado en
una campaña de descalificación directa contra uno de los aspirantes a
sucederlo en la Oficina Oval.
Aunque el estilo de Trump se ha mantenido constante desde que dio a
conocer su intención de contender por la candidatura republicana el año
pasado, parece que los recurrentes exabruptos y salidas de tono comienzan a
pasar factura al magnate de los bienes raíces. El lunes (01/08/16) dio a
conocer una encuesta en la cual la candidata demócrata, Hillary Clinton,
rompe el empate técnico que se mantenía entre los contendientes y supera
ahora a su rival por siete puntos porcentuales, mientras ayer el legislador
por Nueva York, Richard Hanna se convirtió en el primer republicano en
anunciar abiertamente su intención de
votar por la ex senadora, debido a lo que argumentó como incapacidad de Trump
para liderar a su partido y al país. La defección de Hanna, que podría
acompañarse de otras en las próximas semanas, resulta significativa en tanto
revela el grado de incomodidad que generan las posiciones del empresario
entre políticos curtidos en la defensa de las posturas más extremas
contrarias a lo que en los tiempos actuales constituye la normalidad
institucional. Si resultara ganador en las elecciones del 8 de noviembre,
esta ubicación de Trump más allá del espectro de la derecha radical
representa riesgos insoslayables no sólo para los ciudadanos del país vecino,
sino para el orden institucional. Baste recordar su amenaza de interrumpir en
un momento en que tales recursos constituyen la segunda fuente de divisas
para el país.
Crece la lista de aspirantes al Congreso que
declaran no votar por él
Más allá de observar que la candidatura de Trump se está desinflando
por el peso del abanderado, es inconcebible las reiteradas demostraciones de
imprudencia política en la que lleva una reflexión entre todos los sectores
progresistas respecto a las consecuencias de que un personaje llegue a tener
el poder de un presidente en la Casa Blanca, hogar del Imperio del Norte. Por
otra parte se ha visto la peor semana de su campaña presidencial de Trump en
la que intentó cambiar el tema al presentar su propuesta económica, pero fue
opacado por un grupo disidente del
Partido Republicano, que incluyó un mensaje político de 50 altos funcionario
de política exterior republicanos en la que acusan al millonario de ser una
amenaza a la seguridad nacional, esta sería una primer lista de candidatos de
la legislatura que buscan distanciarse del candidato Trump. Entre múltiples
abucheos e interrupciones el Candidato Trump en su discurso en Detroit
reiteró entre sus posturas generales: reducción de impuestos, reformas hacendaria y renegociación del
tratado de libre comercio (TLCAN), sin grandes detalles de la modificación,
pero esta propuesta fue acompañada de las grandes promesas en las que llevara
al país a un futuro maravilloso.
Al resaltar las diferencias con la candidata Clinton, dice: “Ella es
la candidata del pasado; lo nuestro es la campaña del futuro”, claro el
futuro oscuro y opaco que en su discurso no se encuentra por ningún lado. Con
estas tácticas esperaban encontrar un cambio de opinión en los votantes
debido a los ataques mal atinado contra símbolos sagrados de las familias
militares de esta Gran Nación, que causaron un desplome en sus índices de
apoyo y dañaron tanto la campaña política como al partido Republicano. Al
parecer se encuentran 50 figuras destacadas en política exterior y seguridad
nacional que trabajaron en altos puestos en gobiernos federales que
encabezaba el Partido Republicano y advierten en una carta pública: Trump
“pondría en riesgo la seguridad nacional
y el bienestar de nuestro país”. El candidato “ “carece de carácter,
valores, y experiencia para ser presidente”, “debilita la autoridad moral de
Estados Unidos como líder del mundo libre”, y nadie estará dispuesto a votar
por un candidato con estas características. Se agregan a este criterio otros
grupos que intentan sin éxito descarrilar la candidatura de Trump, y en estos
esfuerzos de los ciudadanos rebeldes apareció un candidato conservador
independiente a la presidencia de la República: Evan McMullin. Mientras otros

Por ahora cunde la plaga del miedo a perder donantes, al
presentir que al fracasar el candidato
Trump, pone en riesgo las mayorías legislativas que ahora gozan, por lo que
esperan retroceder en el control de ambas cámaras legislativas. El mensaje en
este sentido es el del presidente de la Cámara baja, Paul Ryan, solicitando
donaciones donde da por hecho el triunfo de la demócrata Hillary Clinton al
ocupar la Casa Blanca. “Si fracasamos
en proteger nuestra mayoría en el Congreso, podríamos estar entregando
un cheque en blanco a la presidenta Hillary Clinton”. Pero sucede un suceso que no se esperaba, y
fue la donación entre las filas de Trump con un cheque de 80 millones para la
campaña de julio, lo que está causando preocupación entre los chicos que
apoyan la campaña política de la demócrata. Pero si esperas que no haya
apoyos para la campaña política del millonario, te sorprendes que haya
defensores de Trump: George P. Bush, hijo de Jeb Bush, feroz opositor a
Trump, y en este contexto político, asume que tenemos que derrotar a Clinton
y el partido republicano tiene su obligación de apoyarlo. Al ser atacado sin embargo el candidato
millonario no se amilana y usa estos ataques para comprobar su imagen de
“insurgente” político que tanto ha alimentado su ego y su inesperado éxito en
su campaña política.
En este andar cotidiano del millonario se registran en las encuestas
del desplome político, lo que indica su eventual derrota en las urnas, y esto
indica lo que todos han estado esperando en el último año pero esto desafía
también irónicamente que pudiera Trump estar apostando por su posible funeral
y el pronóstico de su muerte política que muchos dudan aún. Por ahora los
demócratas están gozando los tropiezos de la campaña política del millonario,
pero están conscientes de tener al frente a una candidata débil y vulnerable
que no logra convencer a la mayoría del electorado estadounidense. Y en este
suceso político lo más importante que tiene a su favor es que ella no es

En medio del caos aprueban reglas para elegir al candidato

México. - Tal como se esperaba
la Convención Republicana se estrenó como un Reality Show. Al encontrarnos en
el primer día de sesiones, con estrellas de segunda del mundo del espectáculo,
víctimas de migrantes, generales retirados, y una senadora famosa por su
mensaje de campaña que atiende a castrar cerdos, y finalizó con la presentación de una ex modelo eslovena:
Melania Trump. Según el programa oficial, “hacer seguro Estados Unidos otra vez”, en el primer día subrayó a los
migrantes como una amenaza para la seguridad nacional. La lista de oradores
tenía el trabajo de afirmar que el candidato republicano es ideal, y es lo
que necesita el país para enfrentar amenazas de todo tipo. Melania Trump -esposa del candidato presidencial- fue
quien aseguró que su marido tendrá la tarea de recuperar la seguridad del
país y del planeta, sin embargo no se extendió mucho en el tema, debido a que
no es experta. Pero al parecer su esposo no es paciente y asalto el podio
donde se presentaba y al ir en contra de estos eventos en su seguimiento
normal donde el candidato aparece hasta el final, decidió el candidato
presidencial interrumpir a su mujer. Otra vez aparece en la coreografía tipo
espectáculo con una luz atrás, acompañado de la música de Queen, We
are the champions, tratando de resaltar a la plataforma política. En esta
ruta sonora presenta a la primera dama de Estados Unidos, sin más preámbulo.
Amenaza para Estados Unidos
Antes de comenzar el programa de la noche, se observan los grandes
esfuerzos por unificar a un partido dividido por la campaña tipo bulling de
Donald Trump, pero al parecer no lo lograron, y en vivo y a todo color se
transmitió a todo el planeta. La organización “Nunca Trump” estaban
descarrilando al evento de la Convención pregonando una rebelión para
someter al voto del pleno la
aprobación de reglas buscando bloquear la coronación del candidato
residencial. Hubo momentos de duda con ciudadanos anti Trump coreando “sin
voto, no a Trump”, y los fieles al candidato respondiendo: “USA, USA”,
intentando con esta acción callar a los rebeldes. Después de sofocar esta
rebelión se aprobaron las normas, pero no pudieron lograr la imagen de
unidad. En este Reality Show se notó la ausencia del gobernador de Ohio, John
Kasich, estado anfitrión de esta Convención Nacional. Apareció el prieto en
el arroz, cuando su jefe de campaña de Ohio, gritaba al candidato:
“avergonzar al estado”. En su plataforma política – social aparecieron
algunas demandas: propuestas antinmigrantes severas; adopta la construcción
del muro con dinero del gobierno mexicano de forma oficial. Se requiere el
muro, para “cubrir la frontera sureña y ser suficiente para detener el
tráfico vehicular y peatonal”. En México muchos ciudadanos, demanda que se
construya dentro de México, para detener a todos los republicanos, y devolver
a estos sinvergüenzas que postulan el odio y el rencor a su país. Ya tenemos
suficiente rencor y odio con los carteles mexicanos, la oligarquía y la
Iglesia Católica para aceptar a extranjeros de derecha y conservadores
radicales con armas de fuego.
De manera esquizofrénica, y con la etiqueta: “Familia de las
Américas”, y simultáneamente establecer que se necesita un muro en la
relación bilateral, aunque vale afirmar que las plataformas se vuelven
irrelevantes y nada vinculantes. La lista de oradores comenzó con una persona
que habló sobre las vidas de los cazadores de patos, seguido por legisladores
federales republicanos, y otros personajes que aceptaron presentarse junto a Trump: el exalcalde de
Nueva York, Rudolph Giuliani, un sheriff
de Maricopa, Joe Arpaio, y un general retirado. Para hablar en contra
de los migrantes de México, el programa incluyó a un agente de la Patrulla
Fronteriza. No hablaron de la cantidad de mexicanos que perdieron la vida,
cuando cruzan la frontera de forma peligrosa en estos diez años, y a cuantos
han guardado la vida de estos mexicanos. Todos lograron postular el mensaje

locales ya no funcionen con agentes de migración federales. A pocas cuadras
de la sede de la convención, se hacían presentes activistas latinos para
poner “Alto a Trump”, integrado con miembros, el dúo rapero Rebel Díaz,
veteranos militares de guerra latinos que repelen a la retórica de odio.Se encontraba otra mexicana María Flores, activista que está en contra del establishment en Wisconsin, que dice: “El odio de Trump despertó una nueva unidad entre nosotros y no nos va a vencer”. Medea Benjamín, miembro de la agrupación civil, Código Rosa expresó que Estados Unidos es un país de 350 millones que son opuestos a candidatos como: Trump, y Clinton, aliados de Wall Street los cuales no tienen la propuesta que los estadounidenses necesitan, y votaron por candidatos como Bernie Sanders, y reconocieron que ninguno tiene propuestas honestas y reales. Han reconocido lo corrupto que es el sistema político, y se “están moviendo para continuar con un giro progresista en esta nación”. La diversidad de la población se está viendo en las calles de Cleveland, la oposición a Trump y Clinton es como votar por la gonorrea y sífilis, y vemos en las convenciones de ambos sólo caras blancas, y con excepciones, lo que es reflejo de la pugna entre el pasado nostálgico de la ultraderecha y el futuro de la República. Aunque se encontraron algunas filas de apoyo nostálgico al millonario de derecha radical, algunos neonazis se presentaron para dar su apoyo, militantes cristianos de derecha, los motociclistas por Trump, quienes al llegar en sus motocicletas abusaron de sus expresiones racistas y anti-migrantes. Mientras tanto siguen la tensión entre las fuerzas de seguridad, Stephen Loomis, jefe de la policía de Cleveland, y solicitó al gobernador de Ohio, que suspenda esta semana la ley que autoriza portar armas de fuego al descubierto en esta ciudad. Los errores en la purga tras el fallido golpe militar

México. - Con
el telón de fondo de una gran manifestación en respaldo a la democracia y en
repudio al fallido golpe militar de mediados del mes de julio, ayer
(07/08/16) el presidente turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan, volvió a instar al legislativo
a que apruebe otra vez la introducción de la pena de muerte en el país,
abolida hace 12 años en el país. Tal llamado es uno de los factores que
apuntan a la operación emprendida por el jefe de estado para poner las
grandes energías sociales que derrotaron el intento militar al servicio del
autoritarismo y de su proyecto personal de conformar un poder personal de
conformar un poder personal omnímodo y acentuado de antidemocracia. Con
independencia de la falsedad o la certeza de las elucubraciones en el sentido
de que fue el propio Erdogan quien urdió el fracasado cuartelazo, lo cierto
es que éste, sí como la heroica respuesta social que lo detuvo y lo desarticuló, han dado al presidente un
inusitado margen de acción para remodelar a su gusto la institucionalidad de
Turquía, aislar políticamente a las oposiciones –particularmente, las
expresiones políticas legales del pueblo kurdo- y avanzar en la instauración
de algo parecido a una dictadura. Para fundamentar tal aserto es pertinente
recordar que tras la fallida rebelión militar el Ejecutivo emprendió una
purga que no se circunscribió a las fuerzas armadas: además de los oficiales
y soldados capturados y sometidos a juicio, más de 60 mil funcionarios
civiles han sido despedidos por su supuesto apoyo al golpe, 20 mil profesores
han perdido su licencia y hay cerca de 25 mil detenidos.
Más de un millón de personas se han manifestado
ayer (07/08/16) para condenar el fallido golpe de Estado el 15 de julio, al
Estado Turco, que ha sido criticado internacionalmente de ser una dictadura
con purgas y detenciones generalizadas en el país. “Si el pueblo quiere la
pena de muerte (contra la oposición), los partidos respetarán su voluntad”,
reiteró Erdogan durante la movilización por la “democracia y los mártires”. La
manifestación realizada en el distrito de Yenikapi, en el extremo sur de la
península de Estambul, marca el punto más álgido de las tres semanas de
movilizaciones nocturnas de los seguidores de Erdogan, muchos de ellos
cubiertos con la bandera turca, en plazas de todo el país. Entre la multitud
se veían pancartas en que se leía: “Eres un regalo de Dios, Erdogan”, o bien
“Ordénanos morir y lo haremos”. Erdogan adelantó que aprobará la aplicación
de la pena capital. Esta pena de muerte fue abolida en 2004 en el contexto de
la candidatura de Turquía para entrar a la Unión Europea. Erdogan ha
prometido librar a su país de la red de su antiguo aliado, el clérigo
Fethullah Gulen, quien reside en Estados Unidos y a cuyos seguidores en las
fuerzas de seguridad, el poder judicial y la administración pública acusa de
orquestar el fallido intento de golpe. El clérigo ha negado las acusaciones,
desde la intentona, las autoridades turcas han detenido y puesto bajo
investigación a miles de personas, entre ellos soldados, policías, jueces,
periodistas, médicos y funcionarios públicos.
Pide la OTAN y UE a
Turquía respetar estado de derecho
Muchos de ellos han sido víctimas de violaciones
a los derechos humanos, según expresó Amnistía Internacional recientemente.
Por otra parte el gobierno ha clausurado 45 periódicos, 29 editoriales, 23
estaciones de radio, 16 cadenas de televisión, 15 revistas y una agencia de
prensa, según los propios informes oficiales. Decenas de periodistas a los
que el régimen califica de “favorables” al predicador Fethullah Gülen (FG),
señalado por Ankara como inspirador intelectual del golpe, enfrentan órdenes
de captura. Adicionalmente, Erdogan ha pedido modificar la Constitución a fin
de poner bajo su mando directo al Estado Mayor de las fuerzas militares y el
servicio secreto. En este contexto resulta cuestionable lo peligroso de las
reiteradas sugerencias del gobernante a volver a instaurar la pena de muerte,
no sólo porque, ésta constituye una aberrante violación a los derechos
humanos, sino también porque ese castigo erradicado en Turquía en 2014 y en
desuso desde 1984, podría aplicarse a opositores y disidentes. Los llamados de Erdogan han generado
advertencias por parte de los gobiernos de la Unión Europea (UE) de que un
restablecimiento de la pena capital se traducirá en una inmediata ruptura de
las negociaciones orientadas a recapturar al Estado turco en el espacio
comunitario. Por desgracia, tales advertencias deben verse con escepticismo,
dado que las relaciones de Bruselas con Turquía están moduladas por un
extremo pragmatismo. A fin de cuentas, Ankara presta invaluables servicios a
la UE como retén migratorio y como punta de lanza contra Irán. En suma, los
afanes dictatoriales de Erdogan no parecen enfrentar obstáculos
significativos, ni en lo interno ni en el exterior.
Dirigentes turcos, entre ellos el viceprimer
ministro, Numan Kurtulmus (NK), reconocieron por primera vez este lunes
(01/08/16), pudo haber “errores “ en la purga masiva realizada después del
fallido golpe de Estado del 15 de julio, medida que ha sido ampliamente
criticada por la comunidad internacional. “Si hubo errores, los
corregiremos”, dijo NK, en una rueda de prensa en la que añadió que “los
ciudadanos que no tengan filiación con ellos”, en alusión a los simpatizantes del
imán FG, quien culpa a Ankara de organizar el supuesto golpe de
Estado, también agregó NK: “deben tener miedo y pagarán el precio”. El primer
ministro Binali Yildirim (BY), coincidió que existe la posibilidad de que
entre las miles de víctimas de esta cacería de brujas también se hubieran
cometido abusos del Estado. “Se está aplicando un trabajo riguroso sobre los
que han sido destituidos”, indicó BY. “Algunos fueron víctimas de procesos
injustos”, admitió. Desde el golpe inventado por el Estado, unas 10 mil
personas permanecen detenidas provisionalmente, y sujetas a investigación, y
más de 50 mil han sido despedidas. De acuerdo al diario Cumhuriyet informó que desde el supuesto golpe de Estado se ha
detenido a 23 periodistas, tras seis nuevas órdenes de arresto emitidas este
lunes.

El viernes pasado un juzgado admitió a trámite 17
solicitudes de prisión preventiva. Según informaciones del experto en Turquía
de Reporteros Sin Fronteras, Erol
Onderoglu, la mayoría de los periodistas trabajan para medios que simpatizan
con el movimiento de Gulen. Entre los periodistas detenidos se encuentra
Nazli Ilicak, conocida crítica del gobierno que durante un interrogatorio,
negó tener relaciones con seguidores de Gulen, según informe de la agencia de
noticias DHA. La periodista fue despedida a finales de 2013 del diario Sabah, cercano al gobierno, por exigir
la dimisión de varios ministros del partido gobernante AKP, tras realizar una
investigación por corrupción. El gobierno consideró la investigación un
complot organizado por Gulen. En tanto el ministerio exterior de Turquía
convocó a consultas al embajador de Alemania en Ankara, en respuesta a la
decisión judicial que impidió al presidente Turco, Erdogan, dirigirse por
videoconferencia a los cerca de 40 mil asistentes a una manifestación para
celebrar el fracaso del golpe de Estado, el domingo en la ciudad alemana de
Colonia donde radican parte de los 3 millones de turcos que residen en la
Unión Europea.
Por otra parte Estados Unidos, la Unión Europea
(UE) y la Organización del Atlántico Norte (OTAN) exhortaron este lunes a
Turquía a respetar el estado de derecho y la democracia, así como a evitar
caer en una represión generalizada, tras el fallido golpe de Estado contra el
gobierno del partido conservador de Erdogan. En la cacería de brujas se tiene
asignados como “terroristas”, y en la búsqueda de amotinados hay una cantidad
enorme, pese a las advertencias de la comunidad internacional, preocupada por
la magnitud de los arrestos. La representante de la política exterior UE,
Federica Mogherini y John Kerry de
Estados Unidos, pidieron a Ankara a respetar el Estado de derecho. La
plataforma Wikileaks publicará más de 10 mil documentos sobre la estructura
