México. - La primera visita de Benedicto XVI a México, que se inicia en Guanajuato (23/3/12) por su alta incidencia de católicos, es una confluencia de significados pastorales y políticos que distan de ser alentadores para nuestro país. En el primero de esos ámbitos, ya habremos de investigar sobre sus discursos pronunciados por el pontífice durante su estadía en el país, un primer aspecto inadmisible de su visita a México es que el Vaticano no haya aceptado realizar el encuentro alguno con las numerosas víctimas de pederastia y otros delitos sexuales cometidos por sacerdotes: dicho encuentro sería procedente y necesario.

Esta circunstancia es necesaria no sólo porque Joseph Ratzinger, el papa de los dientes afilados ha mantenido encuentros similares con víctimas en otras partes del mundo, sino también por el papel que desempeñó en el encubrimiento de esos crímenes en México, particularmente los del líder de la Legión de Cristo, Marcial Maciel. Ciertamente esto obliga a recordar la indolencia proverbial del Vaticano –incluso de sectores clericales locales- ante los flagelos sociales, políticos e institucionales que recorren la región, entre los que destacan la pobreza, la desigualdad, la insuficiencia educativa, la insalubridad, la corrupción de las élites gobernantes, la discriminación de los pueblos indígenas, las persistentes afrentas a los derechos humanos y la desintegración del tejido social provocado por las políticas neoliberales, el incremento de la violencia criminal, y desde luego, las conductas delictivas cometidas por miembros de la propia Iglesia.

Libertad religiosa católica
Benedicto XVI se abre paso para efectos diplomáticos como jefe de Estado del Vaticano pero en los hechos solamente actuará como líder religioso en plan de expansión. Hablara con el presidente Calderón sobre “libertad religiosa” y tendrá políticamente a sus pies a los tres principales candidatos a la presidencia del país, bueno el candidato de derecha del Panal es un mal chiste. A quienes no se les convocó a un acto político o de Estado sino solamente a una misa multitudinaria bajo la imagen de Cristo Rey, sometidos así expresamente al poder eclesiástico, tanto Josefina Vázquez Mota como Enrique Peña Nieto por vocación y cálculo electoral y AMLO por lo segundo.

Por lo que toca al aspecto político, la visita coincide con un avance y fortalecimiento preocupantes de posturas tradicionales de la Iglesia católica en la agenda pública y legislativa nacionales. Si bien algunos de estos avances se han venido consolidando desde hace años, otros parecen estar relacionados casualmente con la visita del Papa a México, como ocurre con la reciente modificación al artículo 24 de la Constitución en materia de libertad religiosa, y resulta inevitable percibir en dicha coincidencia, un afán de autoridades y representantes populares por congraciarse con el alto clero católico de cara a la gira papal que hoy empieza. Las posiciones claramente políticas de la Iglesia católica que son coincidencias con la aparición en México de la Virgen María entre ellas podemos mencionar las iniciativas que penalizan la interrupción del embarazo en más de las entidades del país.
Expansión del Vaticano
La visita del Papa cumplirá tres objetivos: impulsará y fortalecerá los ánimos del ala derecha de los partidos del PRI, PAN Y PANAL, cuando sólo faltan 100 días para las elecciones mexicana, en la que los seguidores de Calderón jugarán sus fichas para seguir en el control de su plataforma política y económica, de los cuales mencionaremos el proceso de reformas a los artículos 24 y 40 que consolidan la “libertad religiosa católica” y el segundo paso será una reforma para quitar cesiones salinistas proyectando sus reformas 30 años atrás de neoliberalismo, y con esto van a confrontar su poder político-económico con los principales personajes mexicanos, congregados a favor del candidato del PRI.

Este Papa viene montado en el recuerdo de las visitas de Juan Pablo II y su ideario y propuestas hacen pensar en una restablecimiento de la Edad Media en México, tenemos que despertar y ver claramente que sus propuestas son mantener el status quo, mantener bajo perfil las denuncias de sacerdotes pederastas, y los abusos de poder con expresiones abomínales como la del venerado fundador de la Legión de Cristo, Marcial Maciel, silenciar expedientes como los que en su tiempo acusaron al propio Cardenal Norberto Rivera de proteger a pederastas criminales.

En el contexto político sería válido recordar a la candidata del PAN, quien consideró a la UNAM como un “monstruo” y con estudiantes que son apáticos a las materias de la profesión, ya que lo escribió en su tesis profesional hace dos décadas aproximadamente, además la persiguen las sombras del pasado por su beneplácito a la política de Augusto Pinochet en Chile y a la dama de hierro Margaret Thatcher en Inglaterra, por lo que ha sido reprochada en Argentina por medio de mantas y consignas. Felicitaciones a AMLO por su nominación como candidato a la presidencia de la República y a las condiciones desventajosas al registrarse ante el IFE, aunque ha usado su poca memoria como estrategia política de recomposición y amorosa al recordar las políticas agresivas que lo sometió el sistema político actual.

Esperando que no se vuelva a repetir el episodio del IFE en un proceso electoral viciado en 2006 que desembocó en una división social artificial, sumiendo al país en la crisis de seguridad nacional y campañas de miedo, aunque AMLO haya demandado jurídicamente al IFE. En breve esta visita deja ver que no es sólo una visita pastoral sino al ensanchamiento de los márgenes de maniobra con los que tiene el clero católico para recuperarse de pérdidas de poder histórico que, se veían irreversibles. Se cierran, en forma inversamente proporcional, los espacios para el desarrollo cívico de una sociedad plural, justa, libre, diversa y tolerante. (La Jornada, política, p.p. 6- 8, 23 de Marzo, 2012)

México. - The first visit of Benedict XVI to Mexico that begins in Guanajuato (3/23/12) for their high incidence of Catholic, it is a fork of meanings pastorals and political that distant of being encouraging for our country. Benedict XVI opens up step for diplomatic effects as boss of State of the Vatican but in the facts it will only act as religious leader in expansion plan.
