México. - The historiography is
not limited to concrete facts, the person that is devoted to this activity
seeks signs, actions, intentions that were not expressed in its time clearly,
and they did not let deep fingerprint in that moment, but the researcher
seeks the fingerprints of the national and local history, as an echo, is not
listened fully, and this is what is certain that finds the historian that that
it does not appear of concrete way. It is from vital importance for Latin
America the assault on Columbus that accomplished the centaur of the North, Francisco
Villa, with "Los Dorados", March 8th, 1916. It is the first time in The State’s history
that a Mexican general with 480 soldiers threatened and fulfilled upon
claiming to the Jews that they had sold to him the shipment of bankrupt
armament and had lost by such reason several crucial battles. Though already
it died the gringos it may have decapitated with cowardice to study it with
rancor and racist hatred Wasp. With this action the Yankees are felt
humiliated, go to war cold, giving to him support to fight to Venustiano Carranza
in the Agua Prieta combat, Sonora. Wilson demonstrates clearly their intentions,
upon recognizing to Carranza November 5th, 1915, but Villa reviles
it upon publishing a vast manifest declaring it "traitorous to the
country", and anticipates that it go to consolidate their government
sold to the "Yankees". Villa
recognizes that ever it has sought political posts, neither their chiefs of
the army "los dorados".
Upon continuing with the history of the general Villa, writes:
"While I continued my advance toward the squares located to it lard of
the frontier in Sonora, the regulars forces of Carranza are mobilized by
American territory in order to assault me and to occupy them before that I.
In Nogales, with a cynicism and sauciness that makes to explode in cholera,
the American soldiers, to be approached the Carranza regulars’ forces, and
they were taken advantage of the confusion, made the American fire on our
troops. Upon finding me in Hermosillo I knew that the enemy, counting on the
help of the Americans, and would be mobilized by American territory to take Juarez
City. In base to the foregoing I tried
to preventing it, since was prejudicing me my provisioning, I directed me Chihuahua
State through the Sierra Madre. By far motives that I found me in the road I
left me and upon arriving I knew that Juarez City was taken for the
enemy. Though counting on hardened
forces and in good number to undertake an energetic beaten in against of the
enemy and to throw it would be of the state, that it has known be heroic
accounts and each time claims it the welfare of the country, I wanted to try
this matter in together to generals to study it carefully."
Letter to
Zapata
"In such meeting all the generals and chiefs of the army that
they are to my command we remain convinced fully of the fact that the common
enemy for Mexico is currently The States and of the fact that the integrity
and independence of our country is on the verge of be lost, if before all the
Mexicans not we joined ourselves and with the weapons in the hand we
prevented that the sale of the country will be a fact. Because already there
has of knowing you the treaties that Carranza celebrated with the government
of Washington. In them is committed to relinquish to The States delivering the
Magdalena bay by the term of 99 years, as well as the Nationals railways and
the Tehuantepec Isthmus, and the grants requested in the oil zone.
Furthermore the Estate, Governance and Foreign relationships ministers of the
Mexican government should be appointed to pleasure of the White House. To
change will be made to him a loan to Carranza of 500 million of dollars,
which will cover with the taxes that collect in the land and maritime customs
and with the sources of the public revenue, for something which will have to
be appointed auditors by the American government."
"All over the foregoing will see you, and in such circumstances
and by the reasons before exposed we decided not to burn a bullet most with
the Mexicans, our brothers. To prepare us and to organize us duly to assault
on the Americans in their own burrows and to make them to know that Mexico is
free men land and thrones tomb, wreaths and traitorous. In order to put to
the keep abreast of people in the situation and to organize and recruit the
greater possible number of people with the indicated end, I have divided my
army in guerrilla, and each chief will travel the different regions of the
country that estimate convenient, while is fulfilled the six month term, that
it is indicated it to gather us all in the Chihuahua State with the forces
that may have been achieved to recruit and to make the movement that there
will be of transporting the union of all the Mexicans. As you are honorable
Mexican and patriot, example and pride of our people and runs by their veins
Indian blood as our, I am sure of the fact that never will permit that our
soil will be sold and also will be prepared to the defense of the country as the movement that we must make thus the The
States only it can be carried out by the north, in light of not to have
ships, I petition to you says me if is in agreement in be come for here with
all their troops and in what date, to have the pleasure of going personally
to find it and together to undertake the work of reconstruction and it go to make
great to Mexico."
Watch out
with the Gringos
"Being able to challenge and punish our eternal enemy, to which
always there has of be encouraging the hatred and provoking difficulties and
discord between our culture. The general Sir Eduardo Ocaranza, person of my
appreciation and estimate, it is the commissioner to submit this letter to
their hands and by the same conduit I request to answer me. Wishing to
have the pleasure of giving to you soon a narrow embrace, I repeat me of you
companion, attentive friend and sure serving. Francisco Villa". This
letter was published in 1979, the issue was to charge of the Society Chihuahuense
of Historical Studies. The doctor Ruben Osorio was the superintendent with
the translation, (La Jornada, Jesus Vargas). Jose Doroteo Arango Arambula, it
was born June 5th, 1878, in a small population called La Coyotada,
belonging to the municipality of San Juan del Rio, Durango State. Villa had a
poor and lacking infancy of basic instruction, had in his infancy to work in
the mess and obligated to pay the obligations of the father. Upon expiring
their progenitor was taken charge of the family working of muleteer in the
estate "El Gorgojito", property of Agustin Lopez Negrete. Villa
achieved to surprise to the owner of the hacienda injures upon outraging to
his 16-year-old sister, in 1894. Upon fleeing from the justice, stayed hidden
in the Sierra, and the hunger compelled it to be gathered with the group of
bandits headed by Ignacio Parr, changing his name to Francisco Villa. Upon
combatting in the Mexican Revolution was changed the name to "Centauro del
Norte". Upon beginning the
revolutionary event in 1910, was joined to Francisco Villa to combat to the
eternal conservative leader Porfirio Diaz, emphasizing in several battles
against the federal government. To be put Francisco I. Madero on the
presidential chair, was put to the orders of the general Victoriano Huerta,
and distrusting of the centaur of the North condemned to him to death by
insubordination, sending it to the Lecumberri penitentiary, it being of June
to November of 1912.
Until December was moved to Santiago de Tlatelolco, prison in the one
which learnt to read and to write. Upon having the opportunity of escaping
went to The States, returning to be murdered Madero president, and found as
president Huerta (1913). With Venustiano Carranza was joined to the “Ejercito
Constitucionalista", and was made of the command of Chihuahua, forming
the "Division del Norte". When enters to the Mexico City, makes it
near Emiliano Zapata in 1914, but rejects in a way automatic the authority of
Carranza. Their better victories was takes it of Zacatecas, Torreon and Juarez
City. With the general Alvaro Obregon suffered the serious rout from Celaya,
and must accept to retire to the Chihuahua State. One of their better and
regaled battle was the assault on the Columbus City, New Mexico, achieving
the racist hatred Wasp, something which prevented many years that Mexico did
not put his name on gold letters on the legislators House, due to the fact
that would recognize the debt of the Yankees. To be overthrown Carranza in
1920, the general Adolfo de la Huerta demands to him to depose the weapons.
Upon accepting the State amnesty the Agreement of Sabinas, in 1920.
Thereinafter it receives in property the Rancho de Canutillo from 25 thousand
hectares, near the population Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, which inhabited
it and worked near with their ancient friends of war, Los Dorados. (La
Jornada, sociedad, p. 30, March 12, 2016).
