Es un viaje de negocios y político
México. - La primera visita de Benedicto XVI a México, que se inicia en Guanajuato (23/3/12) por su alta incidencia de católicos, es una confluencia de significados pastorales y políticos que distan de ser alentadores para nuestro país. En el primero de esos ámbitos, ya habremos de investigar sobre sus discursos pronunciados por el pontífice durante su estadía en el país, un primer aspecto inadmisible de su visita a México es que el Vaticano no haya aceptado realizar el encuentro alguno con las numerosas víctimas de pederastia y otros delitos sexuales cometidos por sacerdotes: dicho encuentro sería procedente y necesario.
Esta circunstancia es necesaria no sólo porque Joseph Ratzinger, el papa de los dientes afilados ha mantenido encuentros similares con víctimas en otras partes del mundo, sino también por el papel que desempeñó en el encubrimiento de esos crímenes en México, particularmente los del líder de la Legión de Cristo, Marcial Maciel. Ciertamente esto obliga a recordar la indolencia proverbial del Vaticano –incluso de sectores clericales locales- ante los flagelos sociales, políticos e institucionales que recorren la región, entre los que destacan la pobreza, la desigualdad, la insuficiencia educativa, la insalubridad, la corrupción de las élites gobernantes, la discriminación de los pueblos indígenas, las persistentes afrentas a los derechos humanos y la desintegración del tejido social provocado por las políticas neoliberales, el incremento de la violencia criminal, y desde luego, las conductas delictivas cometidas por miembros de la propia Iglesia.
Libertad religiosa católica
Benedicto XVI se abre paso para efectos diplomáticos como jefe de Estado del Vaticano pero en los hechos solamente actuará como líder religioso en plan de expansión. Hablara con el presidente Calderón sobre “libertad religiosa” y tendrá políticamente a sus pies a los tres principales candidatos a la presidencia del país, bueno el candidato de derecha del Panal es un mal chiste. A quienes no se les convocó a un acto político o de Estado sino solamente a una misa multitudinaria bajo la imagen de Cristo Rey, sometidos así expresamente al poder eclesiástico, tanto Josefina Vázquez Mota como Enrique Peña Nieto por vocación y cálculo electoral y AMLO por lo segundo.
Por lo que toca al aspecto político, la visita coincide con un avance y fortalecimiento preocupantes de posturas tradicionales de la Iglesia católica en la agenda pública y legislativa nacionales. Si bien algunos de estos avances se han venido consolidando desde hace años, otros parecen estar relacionados casualmente con la visita del Papa a México, como ocurre con la reciente modificación al artículo 24 de la Constitución en materia de libertad religiosa, y resulta inevitable percibir en dicha coincidencia, un afán de autoridades y representantes populares por congraciarse con el alto clero católico de cara a la gira papal que hoy empieza. Las posiciones claramente políticas de la Iglesia católica que son coincidencias con la aparición en México de la Virgen María entre ellas podemos mencionar las iniciativas que penalizan la interrupción del embarazo en más de las entidades del país.
Expansión del Vaticano
La visita del Papa cumplirá tres objetivos: impulsará y fortalecerá los ánimos del ala derecha de los partidos del PRI, PAN Y PANAL, cuando sólo faltan 100 días para las elecciones mexicana, en la que los seguidores de Calderón jugarán sus fichas para seguir en el control de su plataforma política y económica, de los cuales mencionaremos el proceso de reformas a los artículos 24 y 40 que consolidan la “libertad religiosa católica” y el segundo paso será una reforma para quitar cesiones salinistas proyectando sus reformas 30 años atrás de neoliberalismo, y con esto van a confrontar su poder político-económico con los principales personajes mexicanos, congregados a favor del candidato del PRI.
Este Papa viene montado en el recuerdo de las visitas de Juan Pablo II y su ideario y propuestas hacen pensar en una restablecimiento de la Edad Media en México, tenemos que despertar y ver claramente que sus propuestas son mantener el status quo, mantener bajo perfil las denuncias de sacerdotes pederastas, y los abusos de poder con expresiones abomínales como la del venerado fundador de la Legión de Cristo, Marcial Maciel, silenciar expedientes como los que en su tiempo acusaron al propio Cardenal Norberto Rivera de proteger a pederastas criminales.
En el contexto político sería válido recordar a la candidata del PAN, quien consideró a la UNAM como un “monstruo” y con estudiantes que son apáticos a las materias de la profesión, ya que lo escribió en su tesis profesional hace dos décadas aproximadamente, además la persiguen las sombras del pasado por su beneplácito a la política de Augusto Pinochet en Chile y a la dama de hierro Margaret Thatcher en Inglaterra, por lo que ha sido reprochada en Argentina por medio de mantas y consignas. Felicitaciones a AMLO por su nominación como candidato a la presidencia de la República y a las condiciones desventajosas al registrarse ante el IFE, aunque ha usado su poca memoria como estrategia política de recomposición y amorosa al recordar las políticas agresivas que lo sometió el sistema político actual.
Esperando que no se vuelva a repetir el episodio del IFE en un proceso electoral viciado en 2006 que desembocó en una división social artificial, sumiendo al país en la crisis de seguridad nacional y campañas de miedo, aunque AMLO haya demandado jurídicamente al IFE. En breve esta visita deja ver que no es sólo una visita pastoral sino al ensanchamiento de los márgenes de maniobra con los que tiene el clero católico para recuperarse de pérdidas de poder histórico que, se veían irreversibles. Se cierran, en forma inversamente proporcional, los espacios para el desarrollo cívico de una sociedad plural, justa, libre, diversa y tolerante. (La Jornada, política, p.p. 6- 8, 23 de Marzo, 2012)

Indignación mundial
México. - En las calles de diversas capitales en el mundo cientos de miles de trabajadores para defender sus derechos laborales, en la conmemoración del 1 de mayo, marcado por un ambiente general de crisis económica, sobre todo en naciones de la Unión Europea (UE). Este día del trabajo estuvo marcada por multitudinarias protestas y manifestaciones de descontento social y sindical en el mundo. En Europa, las movilizaciones se desarrollaron tanto en naciones como España y Grecia como en países ricos y prósperos, entre ellos Francia y Alemania. En estas capitales del mundo las principales centrales obreras condenaron los programas de ajuste y recorte de prestaciones sociales emprendidos por los gobiernos de Atenas, y Madrid.
En nuestro continente, las nutridas concentraciones se sumaron a expresiones diversas, como el movimiento estudiantil, en Chile, o las distintas versiones de Ocupa Wall Street en varias ciudades de Estados Unidos. Por lo que hace a México, miles de agremiados de organizaciones sindicales independientes y empleados del sector salud, electricistas, telefonistas, universitarios, maestros, y empleados de Mexicana, entre otros manifestaron su hartazgo ante la violencia, el desempleo, el subempleo y los ínfimos salarios de la mayor parte de quienes aún reciben una remuneración regular.
Pese a la heterogeneidad y la diversidad de esas movilizaciones, todas tienen como denominador común el repudio a un modelo económico global que, puesto en situación de emergencia e incluso en períodos de relativa “estabilidad”, sacrifica el bienestar de las poblaciones en un afán de apaciguar “a los mercados”, cuya aplicación se ha traducido, en recientes décadas, en liquidación de las actividades productivas, es decir el factor que genera riqueza en la economía. Si hablamos de ‘apaciguar mercados’ tenemos que esta denominación es un eufemismo que designa la voracidad de los capitales financieros trasnacionales.
Descontento social evidente
En Italia, donde el desempleo se ha disparado, los tres grandes sindicatos del país denunciaron las reformas del primer ministro Mario Monti, en marchas efectuadas en Roma, Turín y Rieti, entre otras ciudades. Los sindicatos organizaron un gran concierto en Roma después de las manifestaciones para pedir al gobierno más ayuda para los jóvenes ante la crisis actual, mientras en Turín los manifestantes acusaron al alcalde de no hacer suficiente para crear puestos de trabajo, luego de lo cual se registraron algunos incidentes con la policía.
Tal estrategia económica, que en el pasado devastó entornos sociales en países latinoamericanos, y en tiempos más reciente en naciones periféricas del viejo continente, como Atenas, tiene actualmente en Madrid, como: el español Mariano Rajoy, en la que habla a su pueblo de ajustes sociales y reformas económicas y laborales “cada viernes”, la sociedad no parece tener, en el horizonte inmediato, más alternativa que padecer nuevos recortes en materia de educación y salud, un mayor retroceso en el Estado de bienestar que se había venido construyendo desde el fin de la dictadura de Franco, y un agravamiento del desempleo en ese país, que actualmente afecta a más de cinco millones de personas.
Un informe Internacional del Trabajo señala que a pesar del impacto negativo que tienen esas medidas en la reactivación de las economías colapsadas. Las políticas de austeridad lanzadas “para tranquilizar a los mercados financieros” son “contraproducentes” y tienden a “profundizar la crisis laboral y podrían incluso provocar una recesión en Europa”, extendiendo lo que ya padecen las naciones mediterráneas. El Banco de España ha dado a conocer (1/5/12) las cifras en el primer trimestre del año, a pesar de los esfuerzos del ultraconservador gobernante Partido Popular por “cortejar a los mercados”, se reportó una fuga masiva de capital extranjero que superó 61 mil millones de euros, lo que sitúa la inversión foránea en la economía de ese país en el índice más bajo en la historia reciente: 37.54 por ciento.
Se desmantelan los servicios públicos y sociales
Por desgracia en México, se vive una situación semejante. A la inveterada persecución de sindicatos independientes y a la persistencia de los controles institucionales corporativos y autoritarios en materia laboral, se suma un entorno social y económico en que el número de desempleados asciende a 8.7 millones (Centro de Análisis Disciplinario de la UNAM), en el que la pérdida del poder adquisitivo del salario real asciende a 42 por ciento en lo que va de la presente administración, y en el que persisten los intentos por derrumbar, las conquistas laborales históricas alcanzadas por los trabajadores en el marco de la ley o en su caso por la vía de los hechos.
En el contexto del descontento social, el presidente Giorgio Napolitano reconoció que el país atraviesa una crisis económica que durará años y que el imperativo es el crecimiento que permita crear empleos para los jóvenes. Portugal, también es golpeado por la crisis y lleva a cabo medidas de austeridad, como en Lisboa los trabajadores exigieron crecimiento, empleos y justicia social. La desastrosa circunstancia laboral presente es, una causa principal del crecimiento de la pobreza y del ahondamiento de la desigualdad, y en naciones como la mexicana, un elemento que incide directamente en la proliferación de expresiones delictivas y violencia descontrolada. Ante tales circunstancias, lo sorprendente no es, en todo caso, que se multipliquen las muestras de indignación como las que se expresaron por todo el mundo, sino que éstas no sean más recurrentes y no hayan derivado, hasta ahora, en una ingobernabilidad generalizada. En estas capitales del mundo las principales centrales obreras condenaron los programas de ajuste y recorte de prestaciones sociales emprendidos por los gobiernos de Atenas, y Madrid.
En nuestro continente, las nutridas concentraciones se sumaron a expresiones diversas, como el movimiento estudiantil, en Chile, o las distintas versiones de Ocupa Wall Street en varias ciudades de Estados Unidos. Por lo que hace a México, miles de agremiados de organizaciones sindicales independientes y empleados del sector salud, electricistas, telefonistas, universitarios, maestros, y empleados de Mexicana, entre otros manifestaron su hartazgo ante la violencia, el desempleo, el subempleo y los ínfimos salarios de la mayor parte de quienes aún reciben una remuneración regular.
Pese a la heterogeneidad y la diversidad de esas movilizaciones, todas tienen como denominador común el repudio a un modelo económico global que, puesto en situación de emergencia e incluso en períodos de relativa “estabilidad”, sacrifica el bienestar de las poblaciones en un afán de apaciguar “a los mercados”, cuya aplicación se ha traducido, en recientes décadas, en liquidación de las actividades productivas, es decir el factor que genera riqueza en la economía. Si hablamos de ‘apaciguar mercados’ tenemos que esta denominación es un eufemismo que designa la voracidad de los capitales financieros trasnacionales.
Descontento social evidente
En Italia, donde el desempleo se ha disparado, los tres grandes sindicatos del país denunciaron las reformas del primer ministro Mario Monti, en marchas efectuadas en Roma, Turín y Rieti, entre otras ciudades. Los sindicatos organizaron un gran concierto en Roma después de las manifestaciones para pedir al gobierno más ayuda para los jóvenes ante la crisis actual, mientras en Turín los manifestantes acusaron al alcalde de no hacer suficiente para crear puestos de trabajo, luego de lo cual se registraron algunos incidentes con la policía.
Tal estrategia económica, que en el pasado devastó entornos sociales en países latinoamericanos, y en tiempos más reciente en naciones periféricas del viejo continente, como Atenas, tiene actualmente en Madrid, como: el español Mariano Rajoy, en la que habla a su pueblo de ajustes sociales y reformas económicas y laborales “cada viernes”, la sociedad no parece tener, en el horizonte inmediato, más alternativa que padecer nuevos recortes en materia de educación y salud, un mayor retroceso en el Estado de bienestar que se había venido construyendo desde el fin de la dictadura de Franco, y un agravamiento del desempleo en ese país, que actualmente afecta a más de cinco millones de personas.
Un informe Internacional del Trabajo señala que a pesar del impacto negativo que tienen esas medidas en la reactivación de las economías colapsadas. Las políticas de austeridad lanzadas “para tranquilizar a los mercados financieros” son “contraproducentes” y tienden a “profundizar la crisis laboral y podrían incluso provocar una recesión en Europa”, extendiendo lo que ya padecen las naciones mediterráneas. El Banco de España ha dado a conocer (1/5/12) las cifras en el primer trimestre del año, a pesar de los esfuerzos del ultraconservador gobernante Partido Popular por “cortejar a los mercados”, se reportó una fuga masiva de capital extranjero que superó 61 mil millones de euros, lo que sitúa la inversión foránea en la economía de ese país en el índice más bajo en la historia reciente: 37.54 por ciento.
Se desmantelan los servicios públicos y sociales
Por desgracia en México, se vive una situación semejante. A la inveterada persecución de sindicatos independientes y a la persistencia de los controles institucionales corporativos y autoritarios en materia laboral, se suma un entorno social y económico en que el número de desempleados asciende a 8.7 millones (Centro de Análisis Disciplinario de la UNAM), en el que la pérdida del poder adquisitivo del salario real asciende a 42 por ciento en lo que va de la presente administración, y en el que persisten los intentos por derrumbar, las conquistas laborales históricas alcanzadas por los trabajadores en el marco de la ley o en su caso por la vía de los hechos.
En el contexto del descontento social, el presidente Giorgio Napolitano reconoció que el país atraviesa una crisis económica que durará años y que el imperativo es el crecimiento que permita crear empleos para los jóvenes. Portugal, también es golpeado por la crisis y lleva a cabo medidas de austeridad, como en Lisboa los trabajadores exigieron crecimiento, empleos y justicia social. La desastrosa circunstancia laboral presente es, una causa principal del crecimiento de la pobreza y del ahondamiento de la desigualdad, y en naciones como la mexicana, un elemento que incide directamente en la proliferación de expresiones delictivas y violencia descontrolada. Ante tales circunstancias, lo sorprendente no es, en todo caso, que se multipliquen las muestras de indignación como las que se expresaron por todo el mundo, sino que éstas no sean más recurrentes y no hayan derivado, hasta ahora, en una ingobernabilidad generalizada. México. - El abanderado presidencial de la coalición Movimiento Progresista hizo un llamado a las televisoras a transmitir el debate entre candidatos en los canales de señal abierta y consideró que si no ocurre así, quedaría demostrado que “quieren imponer” mediante “dedazo” a Enrique Peña Nieto del PRI. Ante el comentario del dueño de TV Azteca la cadena televisiva oponente a Televisa, en Twitter, de que quienes quieran ver el debate, pueden hacerlo en Televisa y el futbol en TV Azteca. “Después les paso los “ratings” al día siguiente”.
En la conferencia de prensa que realiza Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), hizo una “respetuosa convocatoria” a las televisoras y a la Cámara Nacional de la Industria de la Radio y la Televisión a transmitir el debate, porque se trata de un asunto de interés nacional, para garantizar el derecho de los ciudadanos a informarse. Además añade, “mencioné hace 15 o 20 días que como había una estrategia de proteger al candidato presidencial del PRI no quieren que nada se sepa en la telenovela que han echado a andar, y les recomendé que no hicieran el debate el día que hubiera un partido de soccer entre América y Chivas. El candidato AMLO pide ayuda para difundir su propuesta política y combatir la manipulación informativa; convertirse en protagonistas del cambio verdadero, que cada persona invite a otras cinco a votar por él y ser representantes de casilla para cuidar el voto.
También les ofrezco –según AMLO - que voy a encabezar un gobierno justo, honesto. Ya nombré a quienes me van a ayudar en la administración federal. El pasado lunes (30/4/12) hice la propuesta de que el ingeniero Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas sea el director de Pemex, y a las mejores hombres y mujeres vamos a gobernar, y sobre todo, con el respaldo del pueblo. Tampoco tendremos divorcio con el pueblo, y tengan confianza apoyando a nuestros candidatos a elección popular. No queremos tragedias como las muertes de los niños de la guardería ABC en México.

AMLO menciona que “vamos muy bien”, y calificó de “buen síntoma” que el candidato del PRI. Enrique Peña Nieto (EPN), haya evitado debatir con él en un programa de radio en el Distrito Federal. Sobre las encuestas que lo ubican en el tercer lugar de las preferencias electorales, precisó: “Sobre todo las que patrocinan arriba nos dan alguna intención de voto favorable y vamos aumentando, pero mantienen a EPN hasta las nubes. Son encuestas copeteadas”. En el caso de Wal-Mart que corrompió a las autoridades mexicanas para abrir más tiendas, y señaló que a pesar de ser la segunda empresa del país, sólo pagó en impuestos unos mil millones de pesos, el 0.2 por ciento de los 400 mil millones de pesos de sus ganancias. Vamos a crear una atmósfera de progreso, va a haber trabajo, bienestar, vamos a ir casa por casa, incorporando a los jóvenes al trabajo y al estudio”, dijo. AMLO destacó en Reynosa, Tamps.
La necesidad de mejorar los salarios de los trabajadores. “Da vergüenza ver las fotos de la familia de (Carlos Romero) Deschamps en avión particular, viajando por el extranjero, cuando los trabajadores petroleros están muy mal pagados; se quedaron nada más con la fama de que les pagaban bien, porque los petroleros ya no ganan lo suficiente y no sólo eso, tienen que estar aportando cuotas constantemente para que estos lideres vivan como caciques”, acusó. Después de la manifestación en Reynosa, sostuvo que nada ha dañado más a México y Tamaulipas que la deshonestidad y corrupción de sus gobernantes. Indicó que la inseguridad es consecuencia de la corrupción y falta de empleos. “Tenemos que crear un círculo virtuoso, porque si hay trabajo habrá seguridad”.

En su conferencia matutina, el candidato AMLO insiste “ya estamos bastante avanzados en la construcción de la estructura para la defensa de los sufragios. Hay estados donde ya se terminó de construir esta estructura con Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena), pero queremos tener pronto el ciento por ciento; estoy convocando a todos los ciudadanos a que nos ayuden a cuidar las casillas y a defender el voto”. Se le cuestionó sobre los noticiarios de Televisa, que el pasado lunes (21/4/12) hicieron un recuento sobre el papel del candidato presidencial Enrique Peña Nieto (EPN), en la Universidad Iberoamericana, y que especialistas consideraron una especie de control de daños para recuperar credibilidad.
AMLO manifestó “creo que es de sabios cambiar de parecer, yo no puedo pensar que no cambien los medios, en este caso Televisa, viendo la situación real del país. Ellos sin duda tienen un proyecto, es evidente el apoyo a EPN, pero a lo mejor están rectificando y se han dado cuenta de que eso no es conveniente sobre todo para la nación, y con esta actitud de informar sobre el caso de los jóvenes, con objetividad, es una buena señal”. Celebró que ese cambio esté ocurriendo: “no puedo decir que es una estrategia o una maniobra, no porque es conveniente para México la apertura de los medios, que se tenga información. Si ellos están en plan de rectificar y de informar con objetividad, cosa que no habían hecho, porque es evidente y notorio el manejo tendencioso de todo lo que tuvo que ver con jóvenes, bienvenidos”.

En mi opinión es cierta si la manejamos como situada fuera del país y dentro de la ciudad de México, pero en general es falsa, como también es falso que el escrito adjudicado a Pedro Joaquín Coldwell en el que solicita oficialmente la investigación de estudiantes opositores a EPN, en la universidad Iberoamericana. Sobre el decálogo de EPN, AMLO manifestó: “si quiere meter a (Arturo) Montiel de contralor, para qué hablamos de eso. ¿Ustedes le creen a Peña Nieto? Yo tampoco.
